Be A Part of
Something Amazing!

 The CAI Helping Hands
Committee Presents

Oct 19, 8-4pm

This year we are participating in a wonderful collaborate effort to assist a great cause! CAI-Georgia will be teaming up with Home-Aid Atlanta and the Masonry Association of Georgia to assist Atlanta's Covenant House with maintenance items and improvements.

Covenant House specializes in assisting 18-21 year old homeless men and woman. They are much more than a shelter. They provide more than a bed and a meal for homeless and trafficked youth, they show unconditional love and give comprehensive support for years, so that our youth can and will realize their fullest potential!

Learn more about Covenant House

  • We will construct a brick entrance "Stairway" that connects the elevated ropes course and the courtyard.
  • We will create a monument sign at top of the entrance. This monument is dedicated to the kids that they lost to the streets that year. It also provides a dedicated location for candle light vigils held in memory of those children lost to the streets.
  • This project may create career opportunities for the kids at the Covenant House by bringing Masonry Association of Georgia apprentice school to build the entrance way.
They will facilitate help from the kids at the Covenant House to open the door for them to potentially enroll in the school this January.
  • We will make the ropes course operational again, an activity that encourages team building and trust!

Dress Code: Please come prepared to work! It is a bit buggy out so long pants are recommended (jeans, running pants, etc) but not required.

    Lunch will be provided!

There will be two volunteer shift opportunities:
    8am - 12pm
    12pm - 4pm
