Back by popular demand, the Education Committee will be having sponsoring another CMCA Prep Class!

Planning to take the CMCA Exam?  CAI-Georgia is lucky to have some of the top Managers in the country and we want to do everything we can to continue this trend and help add some credentials to your name! 

This review session will prepare community managers to take the CMCA exam (3 hour, 120 question multiple choice exam).  

This class will review:

  • Meetings
  • Governance & Legal Issues
  • Budgets
  • Reserves
  • Investments & Assessments
  • Risk Management & Insurance
  • Property Maintenance
  • Contracting Human Resource Management
  • Test Strategies (including sample exam questions)
  • Memory Skills (i.e. acronyms)

Please note: Registration will close one week prior to this class on, Friday,  February 21. Any cancellations must be done prior to February 21 in order to receive a refund. All registrations after February 21 will have a $25 late fee. Due to the popularity of this class, there will be a $25 no show fee for anyone that does not cancel by deadline and does not show the day of.

 Tom Engblom will be back by popular demand!

Tom began his career in Real Estate in 1984 as a licensed rel estate broker. In 1988, he became a university professor/dean at a junior college for sixteens years while supervising 3,500 condominium units within Chicago and the suburbs. In 2004, Tom became a national instructor for CAI and served on the National Business Council for CAI. Tom began a second career in 2004 as an association banker serving seven states in the Midwest.

Tom has earned Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management and Professional Community Association Manager from Community Association Institute (PCAM). In 2018, Tom completed his Doctorate in Business Administration with the dissertation dedicated to a qualitative analysis of job satisfaction and education for community association managers.
