The Georgia Chapter of CAI (CAI-Georgia) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of community association living through education, legislative advocacy and professional development. We provide continue education and resources to help our members stay current in trends, news, laws, green initiatives and issues affecting community associations in Georgia. Our classes do fill quickly, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot!

February 9-12: Community Association Law Seminar

It is brought to you by the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL), one of the most respected groups of community association law professionals in the world. March 5: Board Leadership Development Workshop

This Board Leadership Development workshop is a two part series highlighting what every board member and property manager needs to know to serve their communities effectively. This workshop is perfect for anyone living in a condominium, homeowners association (HOA) or other type of community run by a board!

April 22: Earth Day Sustainability Education Class

This 3 CE Education course will address how a property manager or board member can assist their community in reaching sustainability practices proactively. 

 



May 10: CMCA Prep Class

The CMCA Prep Class is back by popular demand! Planning on taking the CMCA exam? CAI-Georgia is lucky to have some of the top managers in the country and we want to do everything we can to continue this trend and help add some credentials to your name! This review session will prepare community managers to take the CMCA exam (3 hour exam, 120 multiple choice exam). This class will be taught by Thomas C. Englbom, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, ARM, CPM, Ph.D

 


June 23: Understanding Association Financials

This 3 CE course is designed for the community association manager or homeowner leader to better understand financial basics such as reading financial statements and best practices when approaching budget preparation. This class will also include partnering with a CPA and understanding various accounting methods used in community association management and how to best navigate the loan process for associations.
